About GeNell Prom Closet
GeNell Prom Closet was established in 2019 to pay homage to the love of Gene and Nell Holmes, the parents of GeNell Prom Closet founder Archette Royster. GeNell Prom Closet aims to get kids back to being kids and experiencing the epic fun of the prom.

GeNell Prom Closet provides FREE prom attire to children of incarcerated, terminally, and unhoused parents, as well as foster kids. We also provide a holistic approach to changing the trajectory of those families through community resources and career opportunities.

GeNell's Prom Closet
is an awesome opportunity to give back to youth of incarcerated, terminally ill, unhoused parents and assist foster kids decrease the financial burden of prom. We accept new and gently used prom attire in all sizes and various styles.
